On friday November 14th 2008 FRESH, together with FRESH Alumni, celebrated her anniversary at "Café De Heffer" in Amsterdam! More than 100 people attended the party, they were in a good mood, the beers were filled constantly and everybody had a great time!! Thanks everybody for joining us and making our anniversary one to remember!!!

On November 23th 2007 FRESH celebrated her eight-year anniversary. Together with FRESH Alumni, who celebrated her seven-year anniversary, we joined in café De Heffer in Amsterdam. The Foundation for Real Estate Students from Holland managed to grow up to 650 FRESH members and 300 Alumni members within respectively eight and seven years!
Together with about 150 FRESH and FRESH Alumni members there were plenty opportunities to look back at the past years, the activities everybody attended and to talk about each other’s duties.
After a while when the place was crowded, the Chairmen of FRESH and FRESH Alumni gave a speech for those who attended the party. FRESH Chairman Maarten Oosterveld told in a nutshell about this year’s plans for FRESH and thanked the sponsors Brink Groep, Redevco and Savills for making this event possible. FRESH Alumni Chairman Arend den Boef announced the next FRESH Alumni Study Trip destination: Mumbai, India! The speech ended by lifting the champagne glasses and making a toast on the promising future of FRESH and FRESH Alumni.
Subsequently the party continued and the anniversaries of FRESH and FRESH Alumni were celebrated into the early hours.
On November 19th 2004 FRESH celebrated her first five-year anniversary. The Foundation for Real Estate Students from Holland lived through a tremendous growth the past five years.
The theme of the day was ‘FRESH goes Sky high!’, this stands for the fast development of FRESH. In Club Panama in Amsterdam, several real estate professionals contributed to the program of the day. During the first part of the day, primarily for students, Sacco van der Velde of Ebbinge and Company informed students about how to take the first steps on the labor market, to make a good start as a real estate professional. Richard Engelfriet lectured the students about ‘networking’ and ‘personal branding’.
The professional part started with a great story by founder Christiaan Swen. The first initiative of FRESH was a Study trip to Chicago. After this event FRESH has grown in the past five years to a very professional organization, with an growing role in the real estate academic world.Coen van Oostrom is known because of his FRESH start as a real estate developer. People listened intrigued to how he established his good start.
The first Lustrum was also the occasion for FRESH Research to present their conclusions of her research on ‘Real Estate Education in the Netherlands.’ A panel of real estate professionals, such as Maarten Vermeulen (Bouwfonds Asset Management), Robert Weisz (visiting professor at TU/e and managing director of the DBN Groep) and students discussed the results in a moving debate. The program ended with drinks and dinner, followed by a great party. All persons present celebrated the five year anniversary of FRESH into the latest hours.
