FRESH, ofcourse, depends on her active members. As a tribute to the active members, FRESH organises two or three times a year special events for her active members. These events always have a teambuilding component but the most important purpose is to have fun with each other. Getting to know each other better and sharing experiences are the main aspects.

Friday the 16th of April 2010, Amsterdam
Unlike the previously activities this one didn’t only focused on fun, but also on content. We started with a visit to Heineken The City were the director of Hypsos, the company that came up with the concept and made the design for Heineken The City, gave us a presentation about the way in which an experience can add an extra value to products. Heineken The City is an example in which way you can add extra value to the brand Heineken. He showed us the way they developed the store and gave a tour through the buildings.
After our visit to Heineken The City we went to the Xtracold bar which also showed us a way to create an experience. In a cooled room with a temperature of minus 8 degree Celsius we had a 4D ice experience. We stayed for 30 minutes inside the fridge and had a couple of drinks. After the cold we heated up to normal temperatures in the front of the bar.
We ended the evening with a dinner in the “Pijp”. Here everybody had a last chat and some decided to pursue the evening in Amsterdam bar’s.
The day was a learn full en fun experience!

This year Project Start Up Day will be organised on friday the 20th of November 2009 in Amsterdam.
Monday the 22nd of December THE Active membership trip was planned...Snowworld in Zoetermeer
The attendance was really good. In total we were with a group of 24 enthusiastic people who were ready to snowboard, and yes, we were only allowed to snowboard this year!
The day started at half past 4 when everybody got the opportunity to get their shoes, snowboard and for some a ‘suit’. After our dress ups we were ready to show our snowboard moves… We were allowed to use the slopes for two hours, so here was a big challenge for Marleen to teach everyone to be able to stand on their snowboard and slide down the hill without any broken legs or so. And she succeeded very well!
After an hour almost the whole group knew how to get, sort of, their balance and they were able to glide down the huge hills, which Snowworld is rich in. Of course this caused a lot of funny moments, which Jos could capture very well with his camera, hopefully!
After two hours of hard work, there was time for some refreshments, in the form of some nice beers and gluhwein… After this break a nice dinner was waiting for our hungry group, which was served in the nice restaurant. The stories of everybody’s silly tricks were lively discussed during dinner. Everybody enjoyed the dinner very much and after we ate ‘our stomachs full’, it was time to go home and jump in the car or train.
Overall it was a great day, which we all enjoyed very much. Thank you!
17 October 2008 was the day that all active members gathered for the kickoff of the new year with newly filled committees. The location where where it took place was in the basement of bar T Weeshuis, nearby the Dom of Utrecht.
First of all everybody had to introduce themselves, after which the previous chairman presented the Multi-year plan and the new chairman presented the Policy plan of the upcoming year. These reports formed the basis of the workshop, which took place after the lunch. This workshop was thought by Mr Henk Bellinga. He focused his workshop on the implementation of the Policy plan within a committee. In other words, how you can the objectives of the upcoming year be implemented the best within the committees . The last component was finding out which kind of individuals were present in each committee, so that the partitioning of the functions within the committees could become easier. We ended up with some nice figures ; -) The workshop was concluded with an interesting presentation concerning faith within a committee and eventually Mr. Bellinga gave a clear conclusion with recommendations and tips for the upcoming committee year. And of course the day ended with a few drinks.
We hope that you also have enjoyed it, because we definitely found it an interesting and instructive day and we had a fun afternoon with you. Thanks for your commitment as active member, we really have faith in the activities, which you will organize this year and we wish you good luck and fun this year!
At the end of a fantastic FRESH year, we invited all our active members to come to a water paradise! The whole afternoon was reserved for waterskiing and wakeboarding. After an afternoon full of falling, laughing, walking and swimming, we were exhausted and could relax in the nice loungechairs with a drink. During a delicious barbecue, the sharing of experiences on events we all worked on, was the topic of discussion, while the setting of the sun was slowly there. Once again it was an activity we cannot forget. Do you want to be a part of this?

November 9th 2007 FRESH invited all her active members for a fantastic event: Indoor skiing or snowboarding at Snowworld Zoetermeer! Together with about twenty-five active FRESH-ers we enjoyed this splendid event and had a pleasant drink afterwards. Here the skiing experiences were shared and there was plenty opportunity to get to know each other even better than before.
Subsequently we went to a nice Italian restaurant were we enjoyed a delicious meal. Here the event ended and although we confess it's hard, but the intention for the next active member event is to make it even more exclusive! Already becoming curious? Once again a good reason to join FRESH and get active!
